This review is on behalf of my brother, who went through an extremely difficult divorce process that lasted almost four years due to constant delays, attorney changes from the other side, and many complications throughout the case.

When this process first started, we worked with someone else at the firm who was not very helpful, and I understand she is no longer there. However, everything changed once we were blessed with Anna Feldberg.

Anna is not just an incredible attorney, she is an amazing human being. During this divorce, my brother suffered a medical emergency and was in a coma for days. We truly did not know if he was going to survive. During one of the hardest moments of our lives, Anna guided me through every step while we had to act on behalf of my brother.

Anna, you were truly an angel to our family. Not only did you handle this case with professionalism and compassion, but you were also the only person able to finally resolve this matter within a year after taking over the case.

Anna deserves all the praise in the world for her skills, dedication, hard work, and most importantly, the genuine care she showed us during such a painful and uncertain time. We will forever be grateful for everything you did for our family.

I retained Mr. Cedeño with little notice ahead of my Family Court Trial. He came highly recommended by a great friend of mine who took notice of Mr. Cedeño abilities as his ex spouse attorney. That says a lot right there considering he wasn’t his own attorney but fighting against him. Mr. Cedeño sat down with me, listened to everything and asked me what outcome I was desiring. He showed up before me every court date, ready to go. On his first appearance in White Plains Family Court, he was able to accomplish far more in one day than my previous attorney did in 3 years. On day one he got my TRO dismissed, and I was awarded temporary custody. We know how difficult it is in family court for Fathers or Men to be awarded custody. You’re lucky if you even get visitation these days. With Mr. Cedeño there were no surprises, he explained everything to me up front . He has made trips back and forth to White Plains Family Court with and without me present on my behalf advocating and fighting for my son and I. He has continued to fight for me even now that my case is over. I am truly elated about this experience and now focusing on raising my son and recovering from these last 3 years of Family Court Trauma. I highly recommend Mr. Cedeño and his team, and suggest you articulate what your goal is and any concerns upfront.

Cedeño Law Group is phenomenal, specifically Anna Feldberg, a senior associate attorney at the practice. She represented me on a post-divorce matter that we were able to settle. Anna was kind, patient, responsive, informative and thorough. I highly recommend the firm and Anna in particular!

I would strongly advise against using this law firm especially
for custody matters.

My experience was not just disappointing,it was damaging. After retaining them for a custody case, I was effectively set up for failure. The attorney I worked with did not even appear in court; instead, a partner showed up who was completely unfamiliar with the basic facts of my case and appeared wholly unprepared. For something as serious as custody, this level of disorganization is unacceptable.

Despite providing little to no meaningful representation (including only one physical appearance), I was charged over $4,000. Much of this was billed for simply being present outside the courtroom listening to the other party. When I raised concerns about costs, I was sent an additional bill stating I owed more, only for them to later say they would “waive” the balance. That billing approach felt misleading and exploitative.

The most alarming issue was the lack of sound legal judgment. Another attorney later questioned why this case was even taken to court in the first place due to clear jurisdictional issues—something that is fundamental to any custody case. It became evident that there was little to no strategic thinking, particularly for an international custody matter.

At no point did I feel this firm was acting in my best interest. Instead, it felt like the priority was securing fees rather than providing competent legal representation.

This was a costly mistake, both financially and emotionally. I regret ever hiring this firm and would caution others to think twice before trusting them with something as important as a custody case.

The matrimonial attorney, Sandra Spennato, is rude and unhelpful. She often sounded as though she could not be bothered with me. Getting answers from her was like pulling teeth. After paying her a couple of thousands of dollars, I ended up switching attorneys. Don’t waste your hard earned money on her.

Thank you for replying. I have an attorney who says otherwise. They offered an alternative method that Sandra said was not done anymore. I get it though. The alternative method that’s “not done anymore” is more expensive. Bottom line, right? I understand.
