This was many years ago but Mr Cashatt did the Absolutely WORST JOB . HE NEVER SHOWED UP when it was time for me to answer my (now ex husband's lawyers questions). Brent said "he had something come up" but then ,the next time I saw him he " laughed and said ""you didn't need me you handled yourself just fine."" "
THEN, turned around and still has an open charge for amount due of some $5000. 00 (PLUS INTEREST ) for like 26 years now. Which I will NEVER PAY .
HE WILL not help you the way you need help. He will NOT SHOW UP FOR YOU TO REPRESENT YOU WHEN YOU NEED HIM TO, BUT HE WILL MAKE YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE AND SMILE WHILE HE IS ACTUALLY DISCUSSING YOUR CASE WITH YOUR ENEMY . BIGGEST REGRET EVER!!

I worked with Stacy Warren during my divorce in 2022, and it was the worst professional experience I’ve ever had with a professional I hired for any service.

Because of COVID delays, my court date was pushed out 18 months. During that time, communication with Stacy was extremely poor. She was difficult to reach, often said she would call back and didn’t, and I frequently felt left in the dark about my own case.

I was pressured into an in-person mediation session with opposing counsel, and during that meeting I was verbally attacked by opposing counsel to the point it nearly became a physical altercation. Stacy did nothing to stop it or advocate for me in that moment. Instead, both attorneys pushed me to sign a settlement that was not in my best interest.

A major issue involved my life insurance: the cash value was counted against me in the settlement even though the policy was owned by my kids’ trust and should not have been treated as my asset. Stacy had this information for a full year and failed to address it or protect me.

As the trial date approached, it became clear Stacy was not prepared. She had no witnesses ready, and just two days before trial, she attempted to resign — which felt like a tactic to pressure me into signing the stipulation. She also never provided clear calculations of what my child support or alimony should have been based on my income.

After the settlement, I learned that going to trial likely would have saved me over $5,000 per month — information I was never informed of while she represented me.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Stacy Warren to anyone looking for a responsive, prepared, or ethical attorney.

I highly recommend Stacey Warren of Cashatt Warren family Law because of the fact that she advocated for me fiercely in recent months. My ex and I have been divorced for two years, however, he has done everything he can to make post separation abuse a reality for me and for my kids. When he was doing everything he could to try to pull the decree awarded assumption of our mortgage from me in unethical ways, Stacey stepped in and took care of the issue and made sure that he also did not receive payment from me that he was requesting to cover his court and representation costs. I am thankful to have had Stacey by my side to fight for my daughters’ and my interests. I’m happy to say the house is now fully mine in every possible way, and he is no longer able to try to swoop in and pull that piece of stability out from under my daughters and myself.
