Bruce Toney and Kate I had conversations with both of them initially on the phone to represent me. Bruce said the contract that Columbia Gas wrote up for me was ridiculous “paraphrasing” and he recommended Kate. I talked to her as well. I emailed both of them all my information. Kate said she’d get back with me next week. A week went by. I called and left messages. I heard nothing. Two weeks went by. I left messages. I heard nothing. I think it’s been about three weeks and I still haven’t heard nothing. I get the point and honestly it’s pretty shameful, unprofessional, cowardly, lying and dirty on their part to make commitments and not follow through with or at least at the bare minimum speak with me and say “hey we’re not interested in taking you as a client” so you don’t waste my time by stringing me along. I live my life trying to be an honest guy who does the right thing. I work my tail off 60+ hrs a week with a family and side jobs and I’ve never as a blue collar treated any of my clients like this. If you’re going to lie over the phone to potential clients I think that’s a BIG sign to YOU (reading this, unless it’s you two lawyers, go screw yourselves) right now to how these people may operate. Liars usually are corrupt in other ways. Money and greed. Shameful, lying, unprofessional.That’s all I got to say.

Based on strong recommendations, I had high expectations for this firm, and my initial consultation was promising. However, after multiple follow-ups over more than a month—leaving messages and receiving no response—I was abruptly advised, on my fourth call, to seek another firm without explanation. The lack of communication and professionalism was deeply disappointing. I regret the wasted time and caution others to consider their responsiveness before engaging.
