				Avoid at all costs!! She will not be prepared AT ALL, will almost never communicate with you, and will do such a bad job that you end up losing 10s of thousands of dollars. I watched a close relative lose all because Laurie did zero preparation and couldn't do basic addition and subtraction!! The numbers on paper said one thing and Laurie pushed her client in emotional distress to take a horrible deal. We left feeling like Laurie was working for the other team!! Also, if she just reads an email or listens to a voicemail it'll cost you $30.

				I have had a ongoing case for 4 years. Laurie has always treated me like family and watched out for my best interest. She has never been to busy to return any call or emails.  Bumb law has had my back and stood by my side the whole time!!  The case is finally over. :-)

				*Edit to give you 2 stars because you’re right, you did provide us documents and you did return the retainer but only after months of calling, emailing and leaving voicemails with no response resulting in reporting you to the Indiana State Bar Association to get anything done. As you know, I was also the one to suggest how to successfully resolve the issue with the check getting lost in the mail by suggesting you cancel the old check and write a new one, otherwise you seemed to not have any other solutions to the problem and even seemed bothered that it would cost a few dollars to have to do so. $900 is a lot of money to an average income family like mine. It would be appropriate for you to have more efficient communication with your clients.



We have not received the remaining balance of our retainer, despite calling their office multiple times and writing emails for the past 4 months. We could really use that $900 back.
