The reason why I am free and not sitting in jail is all to the credit of my attorney Lisa Budris. I was facing 16 months in prison over a probation violation. I absconded over 10 years ago by not reporting and had the weight of a no bail warrant hanging over my head the entire time. The warrant finally caught up with me this past year.
