Terrible would not recommend this firm to a single person. I had lawyer Tom bender would take my phone calls every time I called untill the day he was paid his $5,000 dollar retainer and ghosted me for months untill months turned into a year . Spent hours preparing my own case and by the time we had a meeting this man couldnt tell me a single thing about why I was sueing just said it would cost more money. After months of Tom Bender not making a single phone call to the defendent I asked to send back my retainer then charged me $1500 to say he worked hard even though he truly never looked at it and let my case collect dust and promised this retainer would take me to trial before asking for another $10,000. Till this day I dont even have a recipt and hoping after my new lawyer can get my money back since he send no proof of any progress or recipt or will have to report the firm either way I pray this man or law firm wont take advantage of your money as well. The only thing i was ever told about this case was he forgot about it several time. Not sure if this was a medical condition or a firm that takes retainers for a living but this couldnt be more of a mistake if your considering a law firm!

We hired Tom Bender as a litigation attorney regarding legal issues on a house we purchased. He went on and on about how we had a good case and he’d be able to get results as the house had over $100k in concealed damages. We signed a retainer agreement, paid $5,000 as he insisted “he wanted to get started as soon as possible” and got NOTHING, never returned our phone calls, never filed anything, the defendant didn’t even know we had an attorney because he didn’t so much as make an attempt to settle. This guy wasted a year of our time and then billed us $1,500 for absolutely nothing. We will be filing a complaint with the Bar Association because this guy stole our money and strung us along for almost a full year and at the end didn’t even know details on the case which we gave him all the evidence he needed on. It’s appalling to steal from people who are already in turmoil. He never even sent a receipt for what services were provided, $1,500 for nothing AND lost what ever the outcome on our case would have been.
