Both attorneys are great. Melissa is handling my divorce and is very helpful, answering all my questions.

I would NEVER recommend Curtis for a lawyer to represent you! After meeting with him and paying 1,100 right away it was alittle over 2 months that he finally filed my case. Then my first court date gets messed up and moved because he didn't file the right paperwork. Never returns calls or email. I had to keep in touch with the courts to find out what was going on and when I had court, becausewe never received anything from him, and no communication. The day of court for a big part of our lives to be changed. He didn't try very hard because he knew we lost before court was even over! (Fighting for a step parent adoption when the other parent had nothing to do with this child his whole life,6 years, and proved that. Also proved that because michigan didn't make him pay child support being in prison for an awful violent crime he committed while the child was in the home and he still didn't make any attemp to send money ect. To this child even thought we seen that he spent 50 a month on coffee. And how this child has a dad that steped up to be his dad and wants to protect him, care, and raise him with the love he deserves. We lost and he still got to keep his rights! because stated that the father must have the ability to provide support that has a substantive impact on the minor child, and not on his ability to pay a sacrificial or symbolic amount of support! Basising my case off one that wasnt the same. Just shows how the system is messed up. Because no matter what we wouldn't of won we were told. After this we had tried to contact Curtis many times to ask questions and see what other options we had to be told by his office he will get a hold of you. And nothing! I don't ever recommend him if you really need a lawyer. He's all out for himself and taking your money. I should have known when I was asked a few times who my lawyer was and as soon as I said his name got a dirty look. But I looked for months after loosing the first time this case because I didn't have one piece of paper to prove and Represented myself, I lost. He don't care what you have going on, he don't care weather you loose or win. He has no compassion! Don't waste your money or time with this man!
