We are very grateful to the Law Offices of Brierton, Jones & Jones. We were immersed in a disputed guardianship case for our granddaughter. We realized we needed a lawyer to take over. We were turned down by three law offices due to the trial hearing being only two months away. All law offices explained that they could not accept our case because of the proximity of the trial date.
Finally, we were fortunate to be given the name of Attorney Ricsie Hernandez of the Law Office of Brierton, Jones & Jones. After hearing our case, Ms. Hernandez contacted their litigation team to find out if they could take our case.
The following day, we were contacted by Attorney Jacklyn Alvarez, a member of the litigation team, to inform us that they had accepted our case. We sensed that the litigation team saw the critical situation of our granddaughter’s need in us becoming her guardians.
We became immediately impressed by Ms. Alvarez quickness in studying our case. Ms. Alvarez met in person with us to discuss our case in detail. This showed us that she wanted to immediately have a personal connection with us. In the weeks leading to our trial, Ms. Alvarez began giving us a true sense of trust and confidence in her.
At our trial, Ms. Alvarez was skillful and in complete control of every aspect of her presentation and questioning. We could sense that her relevant questioning to those who gave testimony began giving more credibility and strength to our case. On the final hearing day, Ms. Alvarez’ closing argument was incredibly strong. We all stood admiring her convincing and to the point argument in our granddaughter’s need in us becoming her guardians.
When the judge rendered his decision, he gave an awe-inspiring explanation of his decision of granting us permanent guardianship.
Ms. Alvarez’ overall court performance was instrumental in being 100% convincing to the judge. Ms. Alvarez’ legal help in us having a favorable court decision helped us immeasurably in protecting and securing a bright future for our granddaughter.
We will forever be indebted to Ms. Alvarez and the law of office of Brierton, Jones, & Jones.
