Tia WAS a good attorney and a good friend. Life happens fast for us all. I chose to update my review after years have passed. Although it didn't turn out well, I reflect daily on the loss and absence of my boy, how utterly twisted my case was and shouldn't have been. In knowing as the years go buy the simple action of her just walking a paper across the street to the courthouse would have saved my case and my future with my son....they say time heals...no it doesnt

I hired Tia and paid $500. She was suppose to get a change of venue from my former County I lived into my current one so I could take my ex husband back to court for failure to pay a court ordered portion of my Son’s college. Her assistant called with a court date for my former county and I told her that wasn’t correct. She said Tia would call me and that never happened. She also had never had a court date scheduled. I stopped by her office to talk to her and she wasn’t there. I asked for my file and she had lost a huge bible sized file I made of my son’s college receipts that took me many hours to copy and organize. She kept taking on new clients and never got back with me. Around this time, she was arrested for drugs. Do not hire her! She will tell you what you want to hear and take your money. I turned her into The Indiana Supreme Court and they are investigating her: there are many complaints they told me on her: please contact them if she had screeed you over as well. I will have to sue her to get my money back.

I don't even know where to begin. I will start by saying don't waste your money on this crook. I have been very patient with Tia and she has continued to fail me for over a year. I paid her a thousand dollars up front for her to file for my divorce we had nothing to fight over so it was to be fast divorce I filed January 2016 we went to court but my husband didn't show up so the judge granted me custody of our 4children and for him to pay child support alls tia needed to do was finish filing the papers needless to say it has been s year and he has never received one paper ordering him to pay any kind of support I have even went to her office 3times with my husband so he could sighn the papers to get it over with but she is never there. So with no child support I had to file for section 8 I finally got approved but now since the divorce is not finalised and he has been in trouble before, I am now about to lose everything I have waited and worked on for a year thanks to Tia if she would have did what I PAID her to do a year ago none of this would be going on in my life. But most of all this isn't fair to my children and for her to know the situation and just sit by and do nothing for that thousand dollars makes her absolutely worthless in my book. She should not be allowed to get away with this.
