I cannot say enough good things about attorney Stuart Bratcher. He represented me in a very serious criminal case in another Georgia county where I was facing the possibility of decades in prison. Given my prior history involving strikingly similar charges, the circumstances were particularly difficult, and I knew I needed an attorney who understood much more than simply negotiating a plea. One of the things I appreciated most about Mr. Bratcher was the way he treated me as a person. Before finding him, I had consulted with two other high-priced attorneys. Instead of helping me understand my options, I left those conversations feeling judged and discouraged. One essentially told me my situation was hopeless but would need to be retained to look deeper into my case, while another was highly critical of decisions I had made and deeply regretted. He was able to separate the person from the case and evaluate the situation objectively. At a time when I was already under an enormous amount of stress, that mattered more to me than I can adequately express. Mr. Bratcher is an exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced trial attorney. He understood the complexities and technical issues in my case and knew how to address them effectively. He went above and beyond to resolve a bench warrant that resulted from another attorney who unexpectedly withdrew from my case to retire. His knowledge of the law and reputation as a well-respected attorney allowed for the warrant to be lifted rather than me being detained as I had legal issues pending in another county. Ultimately, the District Attorney's Office decided not to prosecute the case against me. When your freedom is at stake, having an attorney who pays attention to details like that matters enormously. What impressed me most was not simply the outcome, but the way Mr. Bratcher handled my case. He is intelligent, strategic, professional, and highly respected. He can be entrusted to follow his advice. My case involved complicated evidentiary and procedural issues, and I am convinced that having an attorney with his experience made a tremendous difference. His retainer is substantial, but in my experience, you get what you pay for. I was not charged anything beyond my $10,000 retainer, and considering what was at stake, that was a small price to pay for my freedom. I would recommend Stuart Bratcher to anyone facing serious criminal charges, particularly someone who may be facing significant prison time and needs an attorney who will actually examine the case rather than simply assume the worst or push for a quick plea. Had my case went to trial, there was no need for me to hire a trial attorney as Mr. Bratcher has courtroom experience that goes beyond plea deals being offered. Mr. Bratcher gave me something that I could not put a price on: the opportunity to walk away from a case that could have changed the rest of my life. I am extremely grateful and can't say enough positive things about his expertise and representation.
