As someone who was directly involved in trying to handle stress for a loved one represented by Jennifer, I am completely appalled by her lack of professionalism. ​We trusted her with a flat-fee retainer, and in return, we got continuances instead of actual work. She went days without answering urgent messages and left our family entirely in the dark. It is terrifying to watch a lawyer withhold crucial discovery documents until less than 24 hours before a major court date when someone’s future is on the line. ​To top it off, she absolutely refused to provide an itemized billing statement or account for where our money went, making up excuses about text message fees that completely contradicted our original agreement and what is in her retainer. ​This was thousands of dollars from our family just for her to abandoned her responsibilities and have him do her work for her. Save yourself the immense heartbreak, stress, and financial loss—find an attorney who actually respects their clients and their families. *UPDATE* Apart from acting like an expensive secretary, she also responded to our email about not contacting us as our complaint is now in the hands of the State Bar, she also made the assumption that we werent going to fulfill the money owed. Unprofessional, immature, and overall a disappointment of a lawyer. Do yourself a favor and find someone who takes their job seriously.

I cannot say enough about how WONDERFUL Jennifer was to our family while we dealt with a situation that required a lawyer. Before we hired her she spent so much time talking me through different processes and possible outcomes. She’s so friendly and knows the judicial system so well! She was always available and never passed on any of my calls or anything to anyone else. We hired her and she’s who we got (very different with some law firms). Throughout this long ordeal, Jennifer felt like an intelligent friend who gave excellent advice.
