Kacie Biebas (Attorney) Do NOT Recommend I would not recommend this attorney based on my personal experience. I hired her to represent me in my divorce and custody matter and paid a $5,000 retainer. I was extremely disappointed with the level of representation, communication, and attention I received. I frequently felt that she was not familiar enough with the details of my case, and I was very unhappy with how the temporary orders were handled. In my opinion, the resulting temporary orders benefited the father significantly despite her being retained to advocate for my interests. Shortly after the divorce was filed, the father made a domestic-violence allegation against me. The criminal matter was ultimately dismissed and did not result in a prosecution. I was also very concerned about how matters related to that separate case were handled and billed while she was retained as my divorce attorney. Communication was another major issue. I had difficulty getting the communication and guidance I expected from both the attorney and her paralegal. For the amount of money I paid, I did not feel that I received representation that came close to the value of my retainer. Divorce and custody cases can have life-changing consequences, and clients need an attorney who knows their case, communicates with them, and makes them feel that their interests are being properly represented. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly encourage anyone considering this firm to carefully review the retainer agreement, ask detailed questions about billing and communication, and make sure you are comfortable with how your case will be handled before paying a substantial retainer.
