I am a former client who suffered significant and lasting harm due to Thomas G. Benneche’s professional misconduct while he practiced in Simsbury, Connecticut. His actions caused me irreparable damage that continues to affect me today.
In 2023, the Connecticut Superior Court placed him on interim suspension after he failed to comply with a random audit of his practice. In October 2024, the court accepted his voluntary resignation from the bar, effectively ending his ability to practice law in Connecticut.
While these disciplinary actions were warranted, I am deeply disappointed that the outcome did not provide greater accountability given the serious harm I experienced.
