Very unprofessional and ONLY WANTS HIS MONEY! I asked him to highlight areas that I needed to sign on documents and David told me we already went over this topic. He couldn't even highlight a document for me.
He is unprofessional and can not hold a simple meeting with out coming across as demeaning and condescending. You will leave with more questions then answers and less money in your wallet. Tell him you use AI to ask questions since this could be your first time dealing with a death of a family member. He HATES that and will make fun of you for asking questions as he did me.

ADDED AFTER DAVIDS RESPONSE:

Thank you for your response, but I absolutely stand by my review.

This was never about whether an agreement existed or what happened in prior cases—it’s about how I was treated during this experience. Asking for documents to be clearly marked for signature is a basic, reasonable request. Refusing to do something that simple and instead responding with dismissiveness and a condescending tone is unprofessional, plain and simple.

Bringing up past matters and claiming my concerns are “baseless” doesn’t address the issue—it avoids it. My review reflects how I was treated this time, and the lack of professionalism and respect I experienced.

I also looked through your responses to other clients, and there’s a clear pattern: nothing is ever your responsibility. It’s always the client, always a misunderstanding, always “baseless.” At some point, that stops being believable.

People should know that asking questions—especially during something as serious as handling a family death—may be met with impatience, defensiveness, or even ridicule. That was my experience, and I’m not going to downplay it.

“Middle Name Augustus, Emperor of Nothing”

Hired this guy thinking “Augustus” meant strength and results. Turns out it means speeches, paperwork, and invoices.

His empire? Excuses and billing. The only thing he conquered was my wallet. Promised justice, delivered Fax Romana — forms, fees, and frustration.

Here’s the historically twisted burn that ties right into the Augustus theme:

Among his peers, his reputation is the legal equivalent of Rome in decline — bottom of the barrel, a cautionary tale whispered in hallways. He’s known less for victories and more for blunders, the kind of errors that make even mediocre attorneys shake their heads. Like a late-stage emperor, he clings to the title while everyone else can see the empire has already collapsed.

Forget Veni, Vidi, Vici. His version: He came, he stalled, he invoiced.

And when you read this, he or his assistant in the Philippines will probably reply with some template saying they don’t know who I am. Don’t buy that fluff. If you make the trip to his desolate office in downtown Carrollton, you’ve already lost.

I called in to try to get help with my property tax lien and I was dismissed no legal advice just "I've got to run I'm on the other line best of luck to you" was what I got haven't had a chance to work with this firm and I'm sure I never will.

This is In response to what was written to my review. I was not offered to be a client wasn't asked for fees or anything or I wouldn't have written a review of this nature. If something like that were done and I refused to pay, that makes absolutely no sense. No you're staff was rude and dismissive I was told you guys did not handle liens and was told she was on the phone had to run and best of luck to me that is what was done and then you come 2yrs later with a silly response as if I'd forget what happened but I did not.
