I used Barry Taylor for my case several years ago and he was the best lawyer I had in a while. He was very open honest and transparent. I would use him again.

In my opinion, condescending and unprofessional. I cannot believe people would allow a suspended attorney to handle their money. Multiple violations of breech of trust. All a matter of public record.

Barry R. Taylor was accused of lapses in his bank accounts and prolonged delays in two personal injury disbursements. The bar said his explanations did not hold water. Taylor “knowingly made false statements of material fact to the VSB regarding his trust account” and in regards to two disciplinary matters, according to a March 19 discipline subcommittee determination.

The bar also accused Taylor of “dishonesty, fraud, deceit or misrepresentation which reflects adversely on his fitness to practice law.”

The VSB Disciplinary Board approved an agreed disposition for the three-year suspension beginning Aug. 22.
