Although I hate leaving a negative review for any business, I feel like it’s necessary at this point. For the last two years, my sister and I have been working with Kevin Collver and his assistant, Stephanie Wix, following the loss of both of our parents just three months apart in 2024. Our situation has been complicated because our parents didn’t have everything in place before they passed, and being in our 20s, neither of us had any idea how to navigate an estate or where we were even supposed to begin. My issue isn’t necessarily with Kevin, but unfortunately, our experience communicating with Stephanie has been incredibly frustrating. From the beginning, the lack of compassion and patience during what has already been one of the most difficult experiences of our lives has been disappointing. I don’t expect anyone to bend over backwards for us because of our losses, and I understand that this is their job and they work with situations like ours regularly. But for us, this wasn’t routine. A little patience, guidance, and kindness would have gone a long way. Even two years later, interactions with Stephanie often leave us feeling as though we’re being spoken to like we should already know the answers. We didn’t go to school for estate law, and we hired professionals specifically because we needed help navigating something we didn’t understand. It has gotten to the point where I genuinely dread having to reach out because I anticipate leaving the conversation frustrated. Losing both of our parents and handling everything that came afterward has been difficult enough. I wish working with the people who were supposed to help guide us through the legal side of it had made that process a little easier instead of adding another layer of stress. We’re hoping to have everything completed within the next month or so, and unfortunately, I’m very ready for this experience to be over.

I really appreciate Mr Robinson so much. Nobody likes to go through probate, especially around the death of a loved one. But Barnes Walker was there to help me the whole way through. It was a weight off my shoulders completely. Thank you!

The receptionist was incredibly rude and was unable to answer a simple question regarding Chapter 723 in Real Estate Law. She hastedly said, "I don't know every area of law" and hung up on me.
