My Experience with BFP Law Firm I normally don’t post about legal matters, but after months of trying to resolve this privately, I believe it’s appropriate to share my experience. I retained BFP Law Firm and paid a $7,500 legal fee. Since then, I have repeatedly requested an accounting identifying the legal services performed and the basis upon which my fee was earned. According to my records, I have made these requests multiple times over the past several months. I also filed a complaint with the Tennessee Board of Professional Responsibility regarding my concerns. Throughout that process, I have continued requesting documentation explaining the work performed. Recently, I was informed that the firm’s records are maintained in Clio and can be produced as a PDF, but I am still waiting to receive them. This post reflects my personal experience and the concerns I have raised through the appropriate channels. I encourage everyone to keep copies of their retainer agreements, emails, letters, and other communications with any professional they hire. My hope is that this matter can still be resolved professionally. If it cannot, I intend to pursue whatever legal remedies are available to me.
