I initially had my consultation with Kim at Baer Law Firm, and she was wonderful to speak with. Unfortunately, my experience changed once I was represented by Kaitlin. Throughout my divorce case, I often felt talked down to, as though my input and understanding of my own situation did not matter.

What became especially frustrating was the constant back-and-forth through emails, which ended up costing me significantly more money. I felt that if my concerns and direction had been listened to earlier, much of the unnecessary communication — and expense — could have been avoided. Instead, it seemed like prolonging the process benefited the firm more than it benefited me as a client.

I was also disappointed by what I felt was a lack of knowledge and understanding regarding farm operations and Trusts, which were important parts of my case. I expected more experience and guidance in those areas, especially given how much was at stake.

To make matters worse, invoices were repeatedly sent to the wrong email address, creating additional confusion and frustration. I was then threatened with an attorney fee lien, despite the billing issues and communication problems throughout the process.

Overall, I was very disappointed in the level of professionalism, communication, and client support I received during such a difficult time in my life.
