Despite his busy schedule involving trial work, my wife and I were able to meet with Mr. Astuno to help us draft an appropriate tenancy agreement that was perfectly suited to our needs for a recent family member who now resides with us. Mr. Astuno listened to what we wanted to accomplish, then crafted the legal document to meet what was needed from a legal standpoint. He was careful to advise us what we could and should not do under the letter and spirit of the law. Both perspectives were helpful. Engaged Astuno & Assoc for an urgent matter regarding my home and livelihood. Was passed down to a very junior attorney who did not adequately advocate for me when attempting to face off with the sleazy attorney on the other side. I ended up much worse off financially than if I had not hired them to begin with . They certainly charged me for every second of non representation . Billing practices are ridiculous. They are now suing me for balance . Stay away.

I reached out to James Astuno directly on behalf for my daughter. She had a lawsuit filed against her corporation for 10K from Quest on billing issues. They named her personally. When I spoke to James I knew the law and knew they could not add her personally when it was a corporation unless fraud was assumed. There was NONE. so we discussed filing a simple Demur to remove her personally. A demur (as a verb) or a demurrer (as a noun) means to object or formally request a case dismissal.
