I hired Ivan Shaw to represent me at the hearing regarding the termination of my Personal Protection Order (PPO), and I was very disappointed with the representation I received. The entire hearing was conducted over Zoom. During the hearing, the opposing attorney and their client appeared to be together in the same office, while Mr. Shaw and I participated separately. Throughout the hearing, I felt that he was not adequately prepared to present my case. Before the hearing, I provided him with evidence that I believed was important, but none of it was presented to the court. I also felt that my version of the events was not clearly explained or effectively advocated. As his client, I expected my attorney to be thoroughly familiar with the facts and prepared to respond to the arguments made by the other side. During his presentation, I noticed that he frequently looked upward and moved his lips as if he were trying to recall or rehearse what he wanted to say. That gave me the impression that he was not fully prepared for the hearing. Ultimately, the PPO was terminated. I understand that attorneys cannot guarantee results, and I am not judging the representation solely based on the outcome. However, I left the hearing feeling that my case had not been presented as effectively as it could have been. At the conclusion of the matter, I was also informed that I still owed additional legal fees, despite my dissatisfaction with the representation. Based on my personal experience, I cannot recommend Ivan Shaw. I hope this review helps others make an informed decision when choosing legal representation.

Men Beware ADAM doesn’t mean anything. It’s a joke. They put me in the worst situation for 3 years all because they believed my ex wife over me. Yes my own attorney.

Later everything was reversed, after a 3 year battle using another attorney, no more supervised visits with my son as I won full custody after Nancy botched my case, no more alimony (which I can’t believe we still have), no more child support, no more lies being believed by my lawyer representing me.

Also, my new lawyer worked with me for years and won for me charged less than these people who only worked on my case a couple months.

Do yourself a favor and find someone compassionate not someone who just wants billed hours.

I can’t say all of them are bad here as I only know the one who almost ruined my life.

You just may be next so please look elsewhere.
