Although I have not hired Jason (as of yet). I had an excellent experience in both speaking to him on the phone and on a 3 way video conference with my husband, who has a Green Card application in progress. Jason was kind, patient and straight forward with the battles we are up against and his proposed solutions to the aforementioned. I have since contacted him to let him know that some legal circumstances may change for my husband and he was honest in letting me know that if those circumstances change, we will not need his services. It is very apparent that not only does he care about his prospective and actual clients, but has an impressive background in both education and experience that make him very uniquely qualified for our case. If these 'circumstances' do not change, I have already made my mind up that he will be my next phone call, as I will hire him for 100% sure. I have talked with several immigration attorneys about our case, and he has so much more knowledge, experience and drive than the others I spoke with, it is a no brainer to hire Jason Akeny for immigration issues. Contrary to what Mia N.'s review stated, he was more than polite and professional; his demeanor and knowledge base far exceeded my expectations.

I cannot recommend Jason enough! For 20+ years my family had been trying to get my brother a visitor’s visa to no avail. My brother’s situation is unique as he required a Hranka waiver and not many attorneys handle these type of waivers and/or really have the knowledge/experience with them. Jason was recommended to me because he has had experience with these waivers. The process took over 2 years, mainly due to backlogs from COVID and overall delay in processing times. Just like with anything with immigration, brace yourself with patience and trust the process. As I write this, my brother is currently in the US because the Hranka waiver was granted and the visitor’s visa was approved.
