This was an awful situation and experience for me. It was insisted that I just plead guilty for a DUI when I wasn’t driving. I don’t feel like he fought for me though I paid thousands of dollars. It was implied that it was no big deal as it was my first offense. I ended up needing to meet with the board of nursing. I almost lost my nursing license, that I have had for 25 years. I am now on 1 year probation for my nursing license. I was not drinking and driving and Mr. Poole knew this. Very unsatisfactory representation. Follow up. It probably wasn’t Mr. Poole’s intentions for actions against my nursing license be taken. Make sure the judge hears your side of the story whether it’s through representation or by yourself. Most judges are fairly reasonable when they have a chance to hear the real story from the voice of the accused.
