There’s just absolutely no way the attorney hasn’t seen the message I sent on August 9 yet. I’m honestly not sure how I feel about this business or their attorneys at this point. So far, it’s starting to feel like a money grab. It seems like they see someone who is already in debt and somehow end up making them even more financially stressed. They seem more focused on when I can pay them their $75 every two weeks until the balance is paid off than actually understanding my situation and helping me. I asked if my payment could be pushed to September 3 because my employer is holding my first paycheck, so I won’t be able to make the payment until then. I’m not even sure what exactly the attorney is doing for me at this point, and I sent that message on August 9 and still haven’t received a response.

They really didn’t do anything just took my money

12/04/2023 | filed a chapter 7 bankruptcy with
Amourgis & Associates. I got in contact with the
attorney multiple times to try to cancel my bankruptcy case, but he kept persuading me to file anyway even though I requested to cancel. Each time I contacted the firm, the receptionist said that someone would contact me about this matter. The only time they contacted me was to collect a payment. I did receive a letter in the mail regarding cancellation of my case in 10 days if payment was not made. I spoke to the person in charge of cancellations & refunds & he refused as well explaining that they already spent time on my case. I feel like it’s all a lie to collect more money they even told me missing a phone call & leaving a voicemail is still a charge inquired upon my case which is very fraudulent and that was never disclosed. I would like my refund or I will be contacting the local bar association

Was disconnected yesterday when I called. Called back and they set me up an appointment for a call at 4 today. And never got the call so I guess I will be going to someone else not good for business
