First and foremost, I'd like to thank Colleen Coleman, my paralegal and liaison, to my lawyer John-Paul Serrao. JP was referred to me by my sister, whose a court reporter for San Bernardino Court. JP assigned me "homework" after he was retained. I had to gather up reference letters, witnesses, and documents to assist in my case. My court process was lengthy (2023 incident to 2026 probation complete), and currently I'm in the expunge process. Secondly, I have to thank JP because he kept me home when prosecutors were trying to give me the possibility of 2.5 years in jail. I believe we could've got the case dismissed but I failed my end of the bargain and instead had to plead no contest. Thirdly, I'm still working as a licensed professional and able to take care of my family. Everything was not perfect, as JP often forgot my name and had to be contacted through the Amicus phone line or Colleen when I did not see him at court. For the price, I think a direct line would be more appropriate. To folks who need a lawyer, I pray for you. Some of us make honest mistakes while others are habitual offenders. Either way, we violated a law. Thank you for reading, and God bless. I forgot to mention that although there can be multiple sides to the story, there is only one truth. And with a dash cam, the peace of mind is worth the price.
