I reached out to them for settlement services. The response was friendly, and provided an estimate quickly. From my research and reviews I seen, I chose Ament Law for the closing of my home. I was a cash buyer from out of state. Closing was set for a Friday, I communicated that I would be traveling to Pennsylvania beginning Tuesday. Throughout the closing process there were no hiccups UNTIL.... I received an email Thursday afternoon of the amount needed in cashier's check. My bank is not in Pennsylvania. I attend the closing in office, and let them know that my bank is not nearby. The attorney immediately says no bank is going to issue a cashier's check without an account. Then it was suggested by the attorney to try Walmart. I try Walmart, of course they don't issue cashier's check of high amounts. I continue to try other places around town, and even trying to open a new bank account. Nonetheless, I had to travel to the closet branch of my bank; in North Carolina. I was very disappointed! I was definitely expecting BETTER.
