If you are looking for an estate planning firm that values its clients, look elsewhere. My experience with Alperin Law was defined by poor communication and what I consider to be predatory pricing.

Initially, I reached out via their online contact form and received no response. It was only after initiating an internet chat that I finally received a call. Despite having a straightforward estate, I was informed that they require a $395.00 "consultation fee" just to speak with them.

After contacting several other reputable firms in the area, I found that others offer a 30-minute consultation for free to discuss estate services and planning. Charging nearly $400 just to walk through the door is unnecessary and, in my opinion, reflects a firm more interested in their bottom line than in the community they serve.

Save yourself the time and the money--there are plenty of other qualified firms in Hampton Roads that treat potential clients with respect.

Got a letter in the mail. My mom's phone was broke was communicating through me. Scheduled an in person meeting. The receptionist and the lawyer did not know it was an in person meeting. What type of group is this? I highly recommend somebody else. It was clearly stated on the phone and in the letter. Better communications, Virginia Beach location.
