Joel started working with me on my case, but he would hardly ever return my calls and often acted like I was an inconvenience. In addition, I felt unclear on the process, and he lacked empathy in the way he communicated with me about my situation. I also did not receive a clear explanation of what I was being charged for, and he refused to refund my retainer. The lack of communication, transparency, and compassion throughout the process was extremely frustrating and disappointing.
