Alem & Associates

I met and worked with Zewdu on a friend’s case, and I’m grateful for the care and professionalism he brought to every step. He is well-mannered, easy to talk to, and clearly KNOWS WHAT HE'S ’s DOING, from case preparation to coaching and guiding us for the interview. He made us feel safe and supported while being honest and straight to the point. He never sugarcoated anything, and his guidance helped us feel prepared and present the case professionally. I’m especially glad to have met a Reliable Ethiopian attorney who understands our culture, immigration procedures and is also well versed in American law. And mostly i am very amazed by how he and his team is so prepared and updated on current laws and events. I am proud and highly recommend him.

Alem and Associates made what could have been an overwhelming process feel manageable from start to finish. Zewdu was knowledgeable, responsive, and genuinely invested in my case — always ready with clear answers and a solid plan for next steps. I couldn't have asked for a better immigration lawyer. Highly recommend to anyone who wants a firm that truly cares about the outcome, not just the paperwork.

I am incredibly grateful to this law firm for helping me achieve the approval of my asylum case after a long 10-year journey. Their professionalism, patience, knowledge, and dedication gave me confidence throughout this difficult process. They treated my case with care, answered my questions, and stood by me until the very end. Receiving my asylum approval has changed my life, and I will never forget the important role they played in making it possible. I highly recommend this firm to anyone looking for an experienced, trustworthy, and compassionate immigration attorney. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Great lawyer. He helped me get my complex i485 approved from a pending i589. He was there on the interview to support me and my wife through this
journey.
He’s assistant Yonas is also very responsive and accessible.

They always answered my calls, took the time to explain everything clearly, and never made me feel like I was bothering them. Whenever I had questions, they were patient, honest, and always willing to help.
What stood out the most was how much they genuinely cared. They guided me through every step, always giving me the best advice the law allowed. Their professionalism, kindness, and dedication gave me confidence during one of the most important times in my life.
Thank you, Zewdu and Yonas, for everything you did for me. I will always be grateful and highly recommend your office to anyone looking for an immigration lawyer they can truly trust.
