I'm a subscriber to Mike Alder's YouTube channel and have watched nearly all of his videos. As a serious self-represented litigant, I've learned a tremendous amount. What sets Mike apart from most lawyers on YouTube is that he goes beyond explaining basic legal concepts and procedures. He openly shares real trial strategies, litigation techniques, and the thinking behind them, drawing from his extensive courtroom experience. From my research and watching his videos, I can tell that Mike is a true plaintiff's trial lawyer who understands not only how to build a strong plaintiff's case, but also how the defense side thinks and operates, and how to use that understanding to achieve better results for his clients. I also recently received his book, the Trial Lawyer's Bible. I appreciate his generosity in sharing his knowledge and experience so openly. I highly recommend both his YouTube channel and his book to attorneys who aspire to become trial lawyers, as well as serious self-represented litigants like myself who want to understand the strategy behind litigation, not just the rules and procedures.
