Alan is the best and I very highly recommend his skills and services. I have been a contractor for 30 years, and dealt with a lot of lawyers, but Alan is different. He understands contractors, construction and the law very well. Mr. Carnegie is very professional and has a way of staying calm and focused when other people (or lawyers) are emotional or behaving unprofessionally. We had an issue with root damage to a retaining wall. Our insurance company told us that our policy did not cover the problem. We contacted Alan because his website stated that he dealt with issues of root damage. Alan suggested that we engage an arborist to determine the cause of the damage. Alan visited our property with the arborist. A day or so later, he recommended a course of action and gave us a flat fee for specified services. We engaged Alan. He spoke with the insurance adjuster assigned to our claim and wrote a detailed letter citing case law that supported our claim. The bottom line result was that the insurance company offered a very fair settlement to replace the wall due to Alan’s strategy and expertise.
