I was extremely disappointed in the lack of attention given to my situation.

I made mistakes and I take full accountability for that and 100 percent knew then and still know there would be unavoidable consequences to face.

But, while incarcerated, I had someone talk frequently with every detail of my case to the office and attorney himself and upon the court date, Nash knew zero of that information.

I then was promised multiple video consultations and phone calls to the jail and never once was that followed through. Upon my court date Nash was taking notes onto his iPhone while approaching the stand with me. He did not take even 5 minutes to go over the details of my case with me.

I was then sentenced the max and got the book completely thrown at me. I myself even knew it was way unjust and overboard

Then, when we spoke for 2 minutes after my sentencing. He could not answer even basic level questions that any lawyer should absolutely know the answer too .

I was then told they would try to get me into a mental health court. There was again zero calls to the jail or follow up after being promised multiple times.

When all I needed was to file a simple motion to be seen in front of a judge again because I had learned through the guards, not my lawyer, very basic alternatives that every single inmate that were in way worse situations than I was, had the opportunity to do in order to get time reduced. I was told their work was done. When, yet again, I still hadn't received any communication promised. This being me myself personally speaking to the lawyer via jail phone or video not a third party.

After ignoring emails from friends and family, not ever following through with the scheduled video or phone calls, being paid 3000 dollars, and on representation day not even setting aside 5 minutes outside the actual court room, hence typing details into iPhone notes that were clearly relayed multiple times before but obviously forgotten, not taken seriously, or not communicated well by staff, I was told if I asked one more question about mental health court, or just the letter to the county clerk just to get myself in front of a judge to ask for the very infamous class inmates take in jail to be released early-- which was never even in my lawyers radar from the start-- I had to dig and fight and trade commissary to find out basic legal options and rights that any lawyer would know--
Nash sent an email stating anymore questions or requests would be harassment and I would be blocked.
This is after again 3000, and zero one in one discussion with me ever that was promised at least 3-5 times.
I ended up doing 3 1/2 extra months because of this attorney.
I also did not need to hear about his break up after I got sentenced as a way to trauma bond or that in astrology it says that this particular time and date was hard for many people.
I am traumatized. I was bullied. I was beaten. Every penny I had was spent on this and no one would even talk to me once.

In total I got 3 minutes of conversation with this law office. I had a friend on the outside communicate questions and details multiple times that fell on deaf ears.
Again, I committed a crime, but my punishment was far far worse than expected, needed, or in anyway common. The judge was even looking at the attorney like "well? You gonna try anything?"
This is the first bad review I have ever left. I was released August2024. I have thought about whether to do this for over a year because I didn't know if I wanted to potentially harm a career. But, if I can save someone the money and outcome I endered because of poor in office communication, and unresearched/uneducated and not following through with basic legal responsibilities, then I will be honest and leave this very honest review.
There needs to be some sort of accountability.

Sincerely,
Traumatized, in debt, and disappointed.
