We had been having years of issues with our son's school's due to their refusal to follow his IEP and maintain a safe environment for the students on campus. As we began to push more, the district began to make our family's life more difficult.
We had Stanley recommended to us by a colleague of my wife who had used him for an employment issue, and we could not be happier. Stanley has a great understanding of the system. He has helped us stay focused on what is worth responding to and what can be chalked up to the district fabricating a storyline to cover itself. He has also helped the district take us seriously. Prior to bringing him on, our son's IEP was already overdue by 3 months with little progress.
Stanley has been a great asset to resolving our issues with our son's district. He also works closely with an IEP advocate who was able to help with a new placement for our son to remove him from the environment at his school and get him to a school that believes in the importance of an IEP for a student's access to their education.
We still have some work to do, but we resolved our number 1 priority in getting our son out of a bad environment. We fully trust Stanley and his guidance to see us through the rest of this ordeal.

Stan really helped me out when my school's administration did not follow their own policies. Stan acted quickly and made sure that I understood the legal situation. He is very personable, brilliant, calm and empathetic. Stanley Apps is a lawyer that seeks justice, not blood. The biggest mistake I made was not calling him sooner.
