Returned my call regarding a zoning issue. Took the time to explain the process to me and then convinced me that I should not give them my money, but, instead, do it myself. Then offered to help me if I get stuck at any point in the process. Could have easily went the other way and had me give him a couple thousand dollars, but chose not to.

If I need an attorney in the future, they will definitely be my first call.

An attorney in this firm worked directly with Cherry-Weber surveyors to alter our property (easement) without our knowledge or permission when working for local government to preserve our neighbor’s property. To my understanding, failure to obtain our permission when altering our property for public use violates Constitutional and Civil rights law, and laws regarding eminent domain and inverse condemnation. They brag about their expertise in this area so I am sure they are aware of their violations. We have been trying to fix this mess and the extreme damage this has caused us for 12 years because of significant safety issues that need to be addressed. Thus far, the firm has made no effort to try to remedy the situation even though they could probably do so with a few phone calls. Not only has the firm failed to help, but they have benefitted by getting additional assignments as a result. Ethics are not defined by words but by actions. I have a hard time reconciling their actions in this matter with the ethics claims in their website.
