I wish I could rate zero stars. Throughout my child custody case, I was shuffled between three different attorneys—two of whom suddenly left Groshek—forcing me to take out loans to defend against my ex’s aggressive lawyer. I ended up doing most of the work myself because my legal representation was completely incompetent.

Christa, the managing partner, has refused to refund the excessive charges I incurred just to get each new attorney up to speed. I was even billed for responses to documents that were riddled with typos and misinformation that had nothing to do with my case.

Worst of all, after all this, my daughter’s violent father was granted even more time with her than before I hired Groshek Law. My experience with Anna, Mary, Shannon, and Christa has been nothing short of devastating. I would never recommend this firm to anyone dealing with a serious custody battle.

Chelsey Fischbach, an attorney at Groshek Law Firm represented on my criminal case in Hennepin County District Court. I was charged with 1 count of theft-by-swindle by the Hennepin County Attorney Office. I was facing a guideline prison sentence. Mrs. Fischbach was able to negotiate a plea bargain in good faith and on my behalf with the prosecutor, and she was able to get me a plea agreement of a Stay of Imposition sentence of 3 years probation and upon successful completion of the 3 years of probation. The felony count of theft-by-swindle drops to a misdemeanor. I accepted the plea agreement and was sentenced on March 10, 2025. I was very happy and satisfied with the plea agreement and outcome of my case. Chelsey Fischbach was phenomenal. Mrs. Fischbach is a very compassionate, caring, committed, competent, skillful, talented, excellent, exceptional and extraordinary criminal defense attorney. I would highly recommend Chelsey Fischbach for anyone that’s looking for a top-notch, experienced and great attorney.
